In this video, Dr. William Abraham discusses the epidemiology of Heart Failure globally. The clinical evidence points to the subjectivity of classifying heart failure functional class however this diagnosis is extremely important for treatment plans.  Dr. Abraham reviews classifying patients utilizing the measurement tools of NYHA functional status, and how to better assess patients with clarifying questions and given examples.  The theme of providers collaborating in the care of the overall patient treatment plan is emphasized during this lecture.
